Turkish visa allows foreigners to stay in Turkey for up to 90 days or travel to a third country via Turkey. Most foreigners are required to hold a valid visa to travel to Turkey. However, some exemptions are given to certain nationalities. This visa must specify the purpose of their travel. What are the e-visa application terms?
Turkey e-Visa application must be made by foreigners who hold a passport or an equivalent document that expires at least 60 days after the visa’s expiry date. The visa applicant must also have valid health insurance and financial means to stay in Turkey. The correct type of visa shall be chosen in accordance with the purpose of travel.
How much is the e-visa application fee?
The most recent regulations on Turkish visa costs are published in the Official Gazette No. 32247 and dated 13 July 2023. Accordingly, the single-entry visa fee is 3.456,30 TL, and the multiple-entry visa fee is 11.578,05 TL. Transit visa fees are 3.456,30 TL2 for single transit and 6.934,95 TL for multiple transit.

How long does it take to get an e-visa?
A decision about a visa application is made within a maximum of 90 days. This period starts after the applicants have submitted all of the requested documents. On the other hand, it might take 2-3 months for work or study visa applications to be evaluated, depending on the country.
Who are exempt from visa requirement?
Certain countries have agreements with Turkey which allow their citizens to enter Turkey without having a visa. However, the visa rule, which grants the right to stay in Turkey for only 90 days within 180 days, also applies to foreigners exempt from visa requirements. Residence or work permit holders are also exempt. Yet, those who applied for a work permit must enter Turkey with a work visa.
